Library & Foundation Parking Lots Repaving

Notice is hereby given that the Goshen County Library and the Goshen County Library Foundation will receive sealed bids for the “Library & Foundation Parking Lots Repaving” project until 2:00 p.m. Local Time on Thursday, June 27, 2024.  The work is described in the plans and specifications and on the bid schedule, and consists of the following major quantities (approximately):

   Remove Bituminous Pavement                                          774  SY

   Remove Concrete Pavement                                               767  SY

   Concrete Sidewalk                                                                   717  SF

   30” Curb & Gutter, Type A                                                        58  LF

   Concrete Pavement (6”)                                                      1,367  SY

The project also includes striping, signage and various other minor items as listed on the bid schedule.  Bid forms, specifications, and plans may be obtained either in digital or hard copy format from BenchMark of Torrington, P.C., 119 East 19th Avenue, Torrington, Wyoming, 82240, (307) 532-3811 or by emailing rachelle@benchmark-torr.com upon payment of $75.00 per set for hard copy or $25.00 per set for digital copy, non-refundable.  Bid documents may be inspected at the above listed office from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. Local Time on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the Goshen County Library Foundation Building.  It is recommended, but not mandatory, that all bidders interested in this project attend the pre-bid conference. In order to bid this project, the Bidder’s name must appear on the list of plan holders held by BenchMark of Torrington, P.C.

Bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided in accordance with the contract documents.  “...the contract shall be let to the responsible certified resident making the lowest bid if the certified resident’s bid is not more than five percent (5%) higher than that of the lowest responsible nonresident bidder.” (WY Statute 16-6-102) “Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery, and provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.” (WY Statute 16-6-106).  The sealed bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope “Library & Foundation Parking Lots Repaving.”  THE BIDS WILL BE OPENED AT 2:00 p.m. Local Time on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the Goshen County Library Foundation Building.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or schedules, and to waive minor irregularities and formalities therein, and to award the contract in whole or in part in the best interest of the Owner.
